Nelle ultime ore Steam ha fatto richiesta agli sviluppatori di rimuovere i contenuti sessualmente espliciti dai propri giochi (ne abbiamo parlato in questo articolo).
A quanto pare la richiesta sembrerebbe limitata ai soli giochi che hanno una grafica in stile manga, in quanto altri titoli del calibro di The Witcher o Conan Exiles non hanno avuto alcun avviso al riguardo.
Diversi portali si sono fatti avanti per supportare gli sviluppatori che potrebbero vedere i propri giochi rimossi dallo store di Steam.
In particolare i più importanti sono MangaGamer, Nutaku Games e JAST USA che hanno proposto agli sviluppatori di pubblicare i loro titoli.
