Si è da poco conclusa l’edizione 2021 dei The Game Awards, cerimonia che premia i migliori giochi dell’anno analogamente agli Oscar nel cinema. Oltre ai giochi ci sarà spazio anche per gli eSport e i content creator per cui sono presenti delle categorie apposite.
Stampa e utenti hanno avuto modo di visionare tutte le categorie e le nomination e votare per ogni singola categoria il rispettivo vincitore. Fino al premio più ambito di tutti ovvero il “Game of the Year“.
I titoli nominati a GOTY 2021 sono infatti: Deathloop, Metroid Dread, It Takes Two, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Psychonauts 2 e Resident Evil Village. Come avrete già notato, mancano all’appello titoli acclamatissimi dal pubblico e dalla critica come il coraggioso Returnal, di Housemarque; oppure il coloratissimo Kena: Bridge of Spirits, di Ember Lab. Ancora più sorprendente è l’assenza dell’acclamato Forza Horizon 5, ultima fatica di Playground Games nonché gioco con il Meta più alto del 2021.
