Ieri si è tenuto uno degli eventi più importanti in ambito videoludico. Stiamo parlando dei BAFTA Games Awards. Un momento atteso sia dal pubblico che dagli sviluppatori, che vedranno se il loro duro lavoro è stato premiato in una delle tante categorie presenti. Quando sono state pubblicate le nomination, abbiamo visto come sia The Last of Us 2, sia Ghost of Tsushima, abbiano ricevuto, rispettivamente, 13 e 10 candidature. Una battaglia, questa, che si preannunciava molto agguerrita.
Nonostante ciò, TLOU 2 non è riuscito a raggiungere il podio. Tra i premi vinti, infatti, troviamo quella della categoria “Animazione” e quella “EE Game of the Year“. Quest’ultima viene votata dal pubblico. Un risultato, comunque, notevole quello raggiunto dal titolo sviluppato da Naughty Dog. Il team ha voluto congratularsi con i propri fan con un post su Twitter.
Ad aver avuto la meglio non solo sul gioco targato Naughty Dog, ma anche su giochi dal calibro di Half Life Alyx, Ghost of Tsushima e Animal Crossing New Horizons, è stato Hades, portandosi a casa “Best Game“. La categoria più importante, perché è quella dedicata alla critica. Inoltre, è riuscito a scavalcare la concorrenza anche ai SXSW Gaming Awards 2021. Un titolo che ha sbalordito tutti, portandosi a casa premi in 4 categorie. Per quanto riguarda l’altra grande esclusiva di PlayStation, Ghost of Tsushima, il gioco è riuscito a vincere il premio per il miglior audio.
Anche Animal Crossing New Horizons è riuscito a portare a casa qualche premio. Il titolo, disponibile in esclusiva su Nintendo Switch, è riuscito a piazzarsi primo in “Multiplayer” e “Game Beyond Entertainment“.
Vi ricordiamo che The Last of Us 2 è attualmente disponibile su PlayStation 4. Il titolo manca ancora di una modalità multiplayer, anche se annunci di lavoro sospetti fanno ben sperare sul suo arrivo. Inoltre, Naughty Dog ha svelato di recente perché ha scelto proprio la mazza da golf per “quella” scena. Infine, vi ricordiamo che lo studio è già al lavoro su nuovi progetti.
